I’ve been trying to fight my bias against beers in cans, and I’m finally starting to overcome it thanks to Sixpoint Brewery.
A few weeks ago while I was in a huge piney sticky hop phase I tried Resin before attending a show at the 9:30 Club here in DC, and it was love at first sip - everything I was hoping/expecting it would be. I honestly couldn’t believe that what I was drinking came out of a can.
Since then, I’ve also tried 3 Beans, and Diesel - and my scholarly conclusion is that Sixpoint knows how to can some bomb ass brews. While I’ve yet to try the Bengali Tiger orange IPA that everyone seems to be raving about, I really believe that Sixpoint is right up there with Oskar Blues in terms of breweries that are doing canning right.
It’s time for me to embrace the “craft can” and cut it out with my bottle bias - please send recommendations for your favorite canned craft brews!

Heady. Topper. I also really enjoyed La Cumbre Elevated IPA (NM); just about anything by 21st Amendment: Back in Black, Brew Free or Die, Bitter American, Sneak Attack; and, locally, New England Brewing’s Gandhi-Bot Double IPA & 668 Neighbor of the Beast.

A Heady Topper will change your life. Also, Oskar Blues cans all their brews but Deviant Dales, Gubna, and Ten Fiddy are my favorites.
